Wilson Pickett and the Midnight Movers performing in Las Vegas. (Michael Brown on saxophone)

One of the most exciting moments of my life was in the early 70's when my best friend, Patience Higgins, who is a wonderful saxophone player ask me to come to a rehearsal at his house . After arriving I discovered that it was with Wilson Pickett's band, the MIDNIGHT MOVERS.  After that rehearsal I was ask to join the band and my first job was at the Las Vegas Hilton with Wilson Pickett.  I toured with the band from the early 70's to the early 80's and traveled to Japan and all over Europe.  Wilson was not only my boss but my friend, and we remained close friends until his death.                                                                                        I MISS YOU WILSON
